Description:

Veronica officinalis is a small, herb-like plant that grows naturally in Europe and western Asia.

  • It has hairy green stems about 10–50 cm long, which spread along the ground and send up small upright stems.

  • These stems have soft violet flowers.

  • The leaves are 1.5–5 cm long, softly hairy, and around 1–3 cm wide.

  • It usually flowers from May to August.
